Love Wind Waker's graphics. Wish the game itself had a bit more substance to it, but the cel-shaded look is better than anything Nintendo could've done with Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

That doesn't make any sense...

I mean anything Nintendo could've done graphically with TP and SS. Besides having the exactly same art style, but with a bit more power behind it (and that still wouldn't improve much).

It's definitely in my top graphics ever for its time as well; even now it still looks great and far exceeds any other Zelda graphically, IMO.

This and Paper Mario... games that are immune to time.

Among a few others, but the great majority of them are 2D (metal slug, anyone?)
So those get the credit for being 3D and timeless, which is almost impossible.

....I think Eternal Sonata is the best looking and most aesthetically pleasing game this gen and vastly more cuddly and cute than Wind Waker. (excluding the battle system in Eternal Sonata, those graphics were awful and grainy).

Come to think of it, pretty much any Cell shaded hybrid this gen looks better and will look better in the future due to scalability.

IMO people need to take the nostalgic glasses off.

Agreed looks better than Skyward Sword. Unbelievable graphics to say the least for its time. I am planning on finishing the game for the third time!

Eternal Sonata looked like rubbish to me when I played it. I first played is on the PS3 and then the 360. I coudln't stomach it. It was so repetative. especially with the visuals. Nothing about that game I found visually impressive. Valkaria Chronicles, on the other hand, did much better job are artistically when compared to Eternal Sonata.

Though, I think a lot of people are forgetting Red Steel 2.

Man, Wii games will look so awesome on the WiiU. I never saw this side of Red Steel. Nintendo are idiots to limit the Wii like that and not even offer a revision.

I was under the impression the Wii U wouldn't be upscaling Wii games.

I didn't know that :( If someone could explain to me what it involved and why they decided not to include that, it would be much appreciated. Maybe in another thread or on my wall.

I doubt it would take much effort though.  Hopefully GC/DC/Saturn/N64 games will be upscaled on the WiiU Virtual Console though, similar to how all N64 games on the Wii's Virtual Console are upscaled (from 240i iirc)
