I didn't know that :( If someone could explain to me what it involved and why they decided not to include that, it would be much appreciated. Maybe in another thread or on my wall.

I doubt it would take much effort though.  Hopefully GC/DC/Saturn/N64 games will be upscaled on the WiiU Virtual Console though, similar to how all N64 games on the Wii's Virtual Console are upscaled (from 240i iirc)
