Im sorry but the Wii is collecting dust on the casual end as well (where I live). The games that are still living on the Wii are mostly Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros. Ive been to many friends house who have the Wii and the Wii's were eventually either traded for a couple games or being ignored unless forthe purpose of playing Super Smash. I have tons of friends with Wii's but when I want a Wii game I just borrow my friends Wii who refuses to game. He's trying to gradually bow out of gaming, but says he bought only a Nintendo Wii to cure the gaming itch because if he got a PS3 or 360 the complexities would set in and he'd become hooked on wasting time with it.

I know, it's end of gen. It's normal most people are getting tired with it (I'm talking casuals). I never said the contrary. :]

Dont see things slowing down on the other consoles nor the PC. In fact PC is making itself more relevant than ever with Steam. As for your first post I dont buy consoles I can find at least five games for. The Wii had like a couple more than that but I played the games on my friends Wii before I even cared to start counting to five again. The list now stands at two in Xenoblade and The Last Story.

That's because the Wii is ending its generation now and the PS3 and 360 aren't ending their generations until two or three years from now.

The PS3 and 360's generations will be over by next year. The will continue even though the next gen will start.

STAGE you try too hard
im playing my Wii more than ever, i would never trade it, i have too many games i want to play and if someone gave me a PS3 or a Xbox as a present i would trade them on an instant...believe it or not there are gamers that love the Wii

Im not trying too hard. Are you one of the Nintendo core? If so, you don't apply to what I was saying. None of my friends who I grew up with are core Nintendo fans any longer.

I believe fanboyism is the right answer. If Nintendo titles moved over to PS Vita I'd buy it instantly, even if it's made by Sony

I wouldn't also get a console for only one game. But Zelda, Metroid and Pikmin would me make buy the Vita. If the console costs 599, I would probably want some more games before I buy.

I think a whole lot of this argument has to do with money. It really keeps on coming down to that.

Funny thing is we already established that it wasn't about the money, and that it's legit to say "I can't afford it". But to say "the specs aren't good enough" or other similar excuse is the heart of the issue I think.

1. not an opinion, if you can't see how vastly superior the Vita is to the 3DS then I don't know what to tell you

Ah, I see, so you skipped the PS2 for the Gamecube, right?

The saddest part of it all is that the Vita doesn't even have enough games to be compared to the Gamecube. The PS2 graphics or not was just an acception because of the wealth of great titles the library had. It was a major draw.

There are these people called Tech Geeks.

I'm a tech-geek. I'm a programmer and like tech very much more than other people. I have devices, that others don't own.

But, while most only care for their electronic devices about power, I have often different things I value. PCs that are silent. Mobile devices that can be used for a longer time with only their batteries. Screens that aren't mirrors.

As a programmer I know, modern devices have enough computing power for njearly everything. And that nearly every device can play great games from the past, that keep being great.
