Forums - Nintendo - Screw you Nintendo, i am probably going to buy a 3DSXL

I agree, but for other reasons that could be seen quite obviously.
*glances at name, then at game collection, then at avatar* Yeahhhh... I'm a Rol just with less hardcore(?) opinions.
My 3DS has perfect everything, though. I guess you are just "FUCKING unlucky." Maybe Nintendo hates where you live and they sent all the bad 3DS's over there?

I also learned the hard way after the DS phat.

What? My grey ds phat has been perfect. The battery life is unbelievable, it works after being dropped so many times, and its hinges are phenomonal. My dslite broke though. It sort of works but the bottom screen glitches when I play games. It's really noticeable when I play Castlevania though for some reason.

Both my Phat and Lite eventually had cracked hinges, but the Lite is just such a nicer machine than the original. I should've waited for the revision.

I agree. DSLite was fancy looking

The hinges are loose, but they are loose as to prevent breaks (and loose is also a relative term). My 3DS is 10 months old and the only damage it has is that the hinge has a little of the coating scratched off, otherwise everything else is in good condition.

I prefer the standard 3DS' aesthetics and as the XL will not have a 2nd inbuilt circle pad and shoulder buttons, I see no need to replace it. Also mine's pretty darn sturdy, sorry to hear yours had problems.

anyone know how much this thing is gonna cost? And I'm wondering if the larger screen improves the 3D view range. I've only tried my cousin's 3DS, and the 3D feature was a bit off-putting since you had to be looking dead center at the screen for it to work properly.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

$199, actually.

That's not that bad, actually.  Bigger screen for improved visual fidelity, and still $50 cheaper than the 3DS was just under a year ago.

Indeed you are. I have no problem with my hinge, but the frames of the touch screen keep leaving marks on the upper screen.

I have no idea why people complain about the circle pad though. It doesn't touch the actual screen and is too soft to leave any marks...

"but the frames of the touch screen keep leaving marks on the upper screen"
this is true, but not a big deal imo
