Yes, but those two buttons were part from the Circle Pad Pro add. And i guess, those buttons are main trouble to add in the main unit without taking a big compromise in aesthetics and reason we aren't receiving an Circle Pad Pro included 3DS XL.

I don't like my 3DS anymore simply because I originally wanted an XL version. But I couldn't wait. Now I'm thinking about ripping myself off to get a 3DS XL.

You could always sell your 3DS at Gamestop and put it towards the 3DS XL. I might do that with my DS Lite
