Forums - Movies & TV - Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter looks like it could be the worst movie of the year or it could be a lot of fun. Who's going to see it?

Well last time I went to the theater people laughed their asses of after the trailer when the name came up...

seriously... Abraham Lincon and Vampires???

makes Twilight look like a serious movie series...

It's going to surprise you. I'm serious this film will be a cult classic. Everyone laughs it off but for me, this is my most hotly anticipated film of the year.

I'm really looking forward to it. Do I expect it to be the movie of the year? No. but I can't wait to watch it. It's so out there that i can't help but want to see it.

I know! Although I disagree about it not being movie of the year. I have seriously talked to all my friends daily about this movie. I am so incredibly pumped. I can barely contain my excitement.

Possibly second worst movie behind any bad film starring Hollywood's worst actor, Adam Sandler. Sandler has starred in a lot of bad films and his presence usually makes a film bad.

Not a chance. Don't be so close minded towards this film just because you see Abe with an axe. I expect this film to one up Van Helsing(the greatest vampire movie of all time and don't claim Underworld is better because that is a flat out lie.)

Hey, don't mess with the Zohan!

Weird thing about Adam Sandler movies.  I keep trying to swear them off as stupid, but then about all I have seen I actually enjoyed them, in a "man that is really beyond braindead" sort of way.  I think, for example, Happy Gilmore was one of the best sports movies I ever saw.

I'll definitely see it. I always appreciate seeing historical videos like this so I can learn history, as I was always sleeping through my history classes.

I have no idea how I missed Lincoln's vampire hunting hobby. I think that's so badass.

I find bad stupid films ripped by the critics tend to be the more entertaining movies to watch. Dull, long drawn out dramas that win the critical awards can be boring to watch.

I have watched countless bad Sandler films but its entertaining to watch the next antics of Sandler in another idiot role.

There is always something good to see in a sandler movie. Even if the story is dog shit! Just so happens I am watching Zohan right now.

Anyways, the book was good, so that is a plus for this movie. I think I have just been spoiled in the theaters this year. It could be good I just have high expectations after what I have seen this year. You would think I would have learnedly my lesson after E3.

What have you seen this year?

Ghost Protocol, Holmes 2, Avengers, battleship, John Carter, etc

Highly enjoyed all of them. Snow white and huntsman as well.

I've seen Holmes 2 and the Avengers out of those

You must like action movies!

Oh and I probably won't be seeing Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
