Yeah, you have a very good point about where core gamers went. But I still find it weird developers didn't develop casual games for Wii - like Ubi did. That worked great for them!

It`s weird to see that the majority of developers who made casual games were the unknown developers.
Ubisoft were the biggest supporters of Wii regarding casual games in quantity and sales and after then probably Activision, Majesco.
Most developers just didn`t bother to offer anything specific, i think. So, got to give credit to Ubisoft for having the vision and supporting Wii and that market. Sure made them a lot of money and probably a reputation, too!

Yeah, no wonder they wanna support WiiU now - the Wii made them a fortune! :D

Talking about Ubi of course ^^

Of course!
They know that being first let`s them build up a fanbase on their games and there`s less competition by being first. No wonder EA is saying that they made a mistake by not supprting Wii from the start. Time to step up EA! :D

Oh, but you forget that EA is run by stupid people ;)

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I'm sceptical: as of yet I haven't seen that many EA games coming to the WiiU :P But one thing they are; they're greedy ^^

Well, if they didn`t care ME3 wouldn`t be coming to Wii U. With Wii it was pretty much sports and Need for Speed.
I`m more interested in the unprecedent colaboration that EA talked about at the last E3!

Oh yeah, I'm also much more interested in the cloaboration that EA talked about - and I'm still waiting for it ;)

There was a rumor awhile back that Origin could be coming to Wii U. We will see when Nintendo announces it`s online strategy if that was it. :)

yeah, I'm kinda baffled that they haven't talked that much about their online strategy! Sure, they showed Miiverse - but there's gotta be a whole lot more to it! ... right?

I think they said recently that they were discussing it with partners, but i believe we will learn about it sooner rather than later. At the end of the month Nintendo will have a new investor meeting and something might be talked about.
It would be good if they showed their online strategy all at once and revealed a few unnounced games that took advantage of an online mode as i can`t recall hearing about it regarding Wii U games... and if you look at the list you can only guess what those might be(ZombiU, NBA, Tekken).
A dedicated Nintendo Direct would be the best way to do that.

Yeah they admitted they kept a lot under-wraps to prevent "copying", so there will be some type of event. (Probably a Nintendo Direct in conjunction with a press day.) Along with hand-on events, at least they were hinting at it for Great Britain. (I'm kind of hoping they will have something at the escapist expo in September.)
