Watch Dogs looks very good

Conceptually very engaging

About on level with The Last of Us in terms of how interested I am in it (worth a buy)

Anyone got a GIF of that guy getting smacked in the face with a brick?

this

lmoa wtf?!

No, I meant from Last of Us, the bit where Ellie throws the brick that knocks the guy out.

I have never seen this before, what the heck is it?

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Like people are saying, much better than microsfot but still not that great. It was short and while the games shown were awesome, there was no surprises once again.

At the very least, Vita is getting some sweet games soon.

wait.. short? Wasnt it an hour and a half? MS waas an hour, and Nintendo will be an hour..... Sony had the longest of the big 3

They usually do, it was two hours long a couple years ago

not sure anymore. I thought it was only an hour... someone to confirm it.

it was an hour and 30 minutes, definitely

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I'm not trying to win a popularity contest on strict opinions (I thought pre-Heavy Rain release would have taught you that)

Yes, but Mirson said it's the game of the show, which it is. I don't think it's the best or my favorite, but it will win the awards and deservedly so.

I applaud Watch Dog's showcase (in fact, was never against it, and was one of the first to comment on it), I'm just saying that, regardless of the awards or whatever, not everyone agrees that it was the best E3 has offered thus far. That and, it was so great because it was showcased on the PC. I think that is key. Would the console versions have wowed in the same fashion - probably not.

Yes they would since Watch Dog is coming to next gen consoles. We got a glimpse of the future, which in itself was amazing for many reasons (we now know what next gen hardware is capable of even if it was running on a PC rather than a dev kit. Ubisoft Montreal is a console centric developer) but the game also looked very interesting (original concept and gameplay).

On current gen consoles you wouldn't even be able to run it.

All I saw was "for PS3 / X360 / PC". I heard no mention of next gen systems (not even the Wii U). And besides the Wii U, we have no idea about any other next gen systems.

All I'm saying is, as a PC title, Watch Dogs stole the show, but on current consoles, I doubt it would have have made that same impact. Still current consoles could have run it, just not like that - my point (which you just helped validate).

This this this!!!

It's clearly being run on a PC. I honestly believe it'll be out for PS3 & 360 but not nearly as impressive. Gives me a deja vu to the Battlefield 3 gameplay everyone was jizzing over until the console versions were quite bleh in comparison to the mighty PC.

Either that or its a next gen title :p.

NOOO I FELL ASLEEP!!!

Just woke up. :(

Can anyone give me a summary?

Tweets from Hideo Kojima.
Said Kojima: "'The Last of Us' was, of course, amazing. The first time I've wanted to play a game in a while." In a subsequent Tweet, he added "As a creator, The Last of Us demo crossed beyond envy and brought me delight. It brought out the desire to create again. Thank you."

&

Inaba: "I have no idea how it's being controlled, but this expression for something interactive is absolutely amazing! Naughty Dog is too amazing!"
