Yes, but Mirson said it's the game of the show, which it is. I don't think it's the best or my favorite, but it will win the awards and deservedly so.

I applaud Watch Dog's showcase (in fact, was never against it, and was one of the first to comment on it), I'm just saying that, regardless of the awards or whatever, not everyone agrees that it was the best E3 has offered thus far. That and, it was so great because it was showcased on the PC. I think that is key. Would the console versions have wowed in the same fashion - probably not.

Yes they would since Watch Dog is coming to next gen consoles. We got a glimpse of the future, which in itself was amazing for many reasons (we now know what next gen hardware is capable of) but the game also looked very interesting (original concept and gameplay).
On current gen consoles you wouldn't even be able to run it.

All I saw was "for PS3 / X360 / PC". I heard no mention of next gen systems (not even the Wii U). And besides the Wii U, we have no idea about any other next gen systems.
All I'm saying is, as a PC title, Watch Dogs stole the show, but on current consoles, I doubt it would have have made that same impact. Still current consoles could have run it, just not like that - my point (which you just helped validate).

This this this!!!
It's clearly being run on a PC. I honestly believe it'll be out for PS3 & 360 but not nearly as impressive. Gives me a deja vu to the Battlefield 3 gameplay everyone was jizzing over until the console versions were quite bleh in comparison to the mighty PC.
Either that or its a next gen title :p.
