Even if this happens, the 360 has already sold like 35 mil units in the US. They've wont have a problem since everyone who wants a 360 most likely has a 360.

And i'm not sure whoes at fault here, but in the worst case scenario Microsoft can compensate Motorola for their loss earnings for IP rights.

Come on guys, we are really late in this generation and this would add a hell of a drama, besides a story to tell in the future. That's why the good writers think all the time "what's the worse thing that could possibly happen to the characters?" when they plot their stories.

If it went forward it could possibly rush the X720 into the market this year anyways. Didn't the Xbox suddenly stop selling because of some legal issue too? A falling out between MS and Nvidia, I think?
