This won't happen because Microsoft is use. Protecting intellectual property rights is more important then the consequences on the economy? This basically means it's more important to keep the rich, rich, and that's just what the USA is like. So many laws protecting corporations and big buisnesses.

apparently the decison will come in August, and then will go to the ITC, then to president Obama, then possibly to appeals court. By the time this is out of court, it could already be time for the next Xbox.

They'll obviously settle the question. MS started all this patent trolling all the other Android smartphone producers, Motorola refused to pay protection money too, and counter-trolled MS to settle from an at least even or possibly even more favourable ground.

I lost interest in OSX around 10.4 time, I knew what he meant though and couldn't be bothered checking if they'd rebranded it again.

Considering the amount of money M$ is making in royalties for each Android phone sold, to ban the X360 until MS finds an agreement with Motorola would be just fair. MS is the first abusing the royalties system, now it simply is payback time.

For those talking about Obama, I don't think he has any say in the matter. I'm pretty sure this will be decided solely within the Judicial branch. I also highly doubt he even cares about the outcome of this case. He likes the Wiii, afterall.

You're suggesting that the 360 is way ahead of the PS3 here because Americans haven't taken a good look at it. Nothing could be further from the truth. I, and every American I know expected the PS3 to be #1 here before the generation began. Taking a good look at both consoles lead to the PS3's fall.
