Well at least the games that are coming out this year for the 3DS are good. I'm going to hold off hope that Fire Emblem is still coming next year. I mean they didn't show Animal Crossing and we know that's coming out here in NA. I guess that rumor is true about Nintendo not wanting to show off any games for next year.

Exaclty how I expected

Nice surprise at the end: co-op in mario was unexpected.
The only lack was animal crossing, but it was expected. Iwata said it would come this year, but I thinks it's japan only

Next hype: Capcom Summer jam with MH4 info!

Agreed.  It wsa pretty lackluster but I expected as much.  It was nice to see more Casltevania and Luigi's Mansion if nothing else, but I was surprised that we didn't se any Animal Crossing. 

Well, at least 2 of the 3 Nintendo games looked cool. And a few of the 3rd part games should be good. Still, I think the Wii U had the better conference, Nintendo Land and all.

Oh boy... that was even worse.... it was just a longer version of yesterday's 3DS segment... absolutely no news on Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing, Smash, Layton.... holy crap, they didn't show ANYTHING new.

and I can't even believe some of you think this was better than the wiiu conference? I understand the overall quality of the software was good but at least Zombi and Rayman were there. this was a snore fest

But maaaan... this short term announcement trend Nintendo has adopted really makes little room for megatons anymore. Sadness...

What's even worse is the constant whining I'll be hearing from Moreno and HappyDolphin. Back to hiding!

Animal Crossing's not coming out in Japan until this Fall. Considering how much text it contains, I'm not particularly surprised that localization is going to take a while. I AM surprised that we're getting Paper Mario so soon, though: I'm assuming Treehouse was too busy doing PM to get to AC.

This pleases me personally, but it was probably a bad tradeoff for Nintendo proper.

wow that was unnecessary, the only good news was Alucard in Castlevania

Same here, the fans on this site either have too much expectation namely since Nintendo Direct is really the service that introduces new titles now for the 3DS.
