I hope you have never touched a Sim's Life game then! While the game might look bland it actually gets better the more you play (it better since being Nook's slave isn't that much fun). You will get the same typical responses from your animals most of the times but if you keep pestering them or helping them out then they will reward you with some pretty crazy comments. I remember one animal telling me he found some nacho cheese chips behind his couch and a few other crazy comments. Anyways, you should at least give it a try this time.

I called around town and found a store that had a copy and immediately raced over there to rent it...the last time I ever rented a game I believe. What fun :P |
I went to a Blockbuster and opened one of the AC:GC cases and to my surprise they didn't take out the free memory card (59 slot I believe) out. I then went through about 4-5 cases and got a decent amount of free memory cards.
I dig this series. To the guy (sperrico87 ) that said this wasn't a "real game", I'll have to disagree. Your score is your bank account balance. The goals are to expand your house (speaking of the DS version). With my DS, this was a game that I kept coming back to for years. More than any other game with the exception of MarioKartDS. Yes, it doesn't have a standard "end" like the typical game, so it is definitely a non-typical game, but it can lead to many hours of entertainment. I'll pick this one up.
So for all you people who can't wait, are you going to solve this problem by:
A. Committing mass suicide Jonestown style? or
B. Induce a state of suspended animation until the time when the game is released.
What's it going to be, one requires millions of dollars, the other some koolade.
or
C. You're actually a bunch of liars, and you can wait afterall!
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Usually the end for me is when I get almost all the sets of furniture, almost catch all the bugs and fish, max out the house, attend all the events, collect almost all the K.K. songs, etc. I have actually never fully collected 100% in any category but when I get to a point where I almost have everything is usually when I stop playing.
Speaking of the DS version did you go to Toys R Us and get all those Nintendo items back in the day? I went to their store a few times to get all those Nintendo items. Luckily, for the Wii version you didn't have to go anywhere to get the Nintendo items but the DS Nintendo items made decent marketing technique for Nintendo + Toys R Us.
No I didn't do the Toys R Us thing back in the day. I vaguely recall getting this one at Gamestop.
I totally forgot about collecting all the fish, all the insects, all the fossils. Filling up the Museum. There are so many little challenges in this game. Many little games within it. I never got the Wii version, unfortunately.

Sucks for you! Each Game is different, even if in a small way.
I'm very excited for this game! I haven't played the "Let's Go to the City!" one in awhile and I think it'll be pretty fresh for me when I play this one. I think I even pre-ordered and payed it off!
I have a feeling this is going to be the best game this gen!
As mayor it's going to be payback time, Tom!
