which is your favorite? Im going to put just 3 rows of characters! I need to put in more fire emblem characters, only got ike. Need MORE lol

They're all pretty good, it's your decision, and yes you do need more FE characters (we are in the official Fire Emblem: Awakening thread after all!), however this is not the place to discuss it, don't want this thread to be de-railed.

Well downloaded it earlier today.

Was surprised when I started it. It doesn't start at same place the demo did. There is like some little prequel thing before that.

But man am I loving this game. It is doing EVERYTHING that i wanted to see in a fire emblem game. I could not get into Shadow Dragon because the characters weren't fleshed out enough, not the fun support converstations. The interactions between chapters and even some during maps. It's all brilliant.

not far enough to comment on story, only like chapter 5 or something right now, but as you can see i am already falling in love with some characters. Something as I said Shadow Dragon didn't do for me. I never got far in shadow dragon cause I didn't care about anyone. I wnated to care about marth so much cause he is like the face of Fire Emblem series, yet the game just didn't bring his character to life.

Waited through all day of class today thinking about the game and when I went to Gamestop on my way home the girl said they didn't receive any. A problem with the shipment or something lol, Oh well i'll be picking it up tomorrow hopefully :p

I felt Shadow Dragon had a similar issue; it just didn't have the personality that Radiant Dawn, Sacred Stones etc. had. Don't know if it was because it's the first in the series or what, but there was something missing. A great game, yes, but not a "true" FE games for me.

Whereas this looks to be the best, easily. And that's saying a lot!

Question on DLC.

Do you guys suggest it or does having like "Marth" in your party through the game kind of screw up continuity or the story in any way? Also does the little adventure or map that you do to get said DLC member kind of explain their story or character somewhat.

I don't know every single fire emblem games story. Only beat like 3 of them and played a couple others partway. So be kind of nice to get a sort of summary of their story during the DLC or spotpass or whatever.

I seriously would have just downloaded this game instead of waiting for my copy to ship if I weren't so hung up on getting the physical copy.

edit: I mean, I have more than enough space to download my games (16GB SD card)

I started playing the game. First I go through basic tutorials, etc, then IT IS TIME FOR MY FIRST MISSION!

*Grabs main character*

LET'S GO!!! Attack!

*Very first enemy in the game crits me and kills me in one hit*

*Game over*

Did the same as me. I was over confident because I have played all the Fire Emblem that have been released in NA. So I have been soft resetting all day. L + R + Start + Select for those who don't know, it beats out totally exiting the game to reload it.

I'm getting a hand of it. Hopefully my brother's copy and 3DS come soon, my party is getting up there in level.
