The great beauty (La grande bellezza) 8.5/10
Funny, mesmerizing, surprising, sometimes hard to follow but always beautiful to look at, interesting conversations, great musical score. Yet I still think french sounds nicer than italian.

I gotta watch this one. I'm half italian so the language should be ok.

Lately I watched Philomena. It wasn't too bad, but I wouldn't watch it more than once.
12 years a slave however I thoroughly recommend if it's still in the movies.

Son of God I really liked, but I skipped Noah. Just heard that it was too modified from the biblical story.

Others on my radar are the Grand Budapest Hotel, Enemy and Transcendance.

I have the Grand Budapest hotel pre-ordered, looking forward to it.
Enemy sounds good, however not listed for a blu-ray release yet. Still playing in select cities apparantly.

I have already watched The great beauty a second time. Jep Gambardella is a great character.
12 years a slave was great too, definitely will watch it again.

I'm on the fence whether to buy Disconnect. Looks interesting, but is it worth $25 imort.
Next on my list is Her, out May 13.

Watched the first Anchorman movie liked it about the same as the second movie so its around a 8/10 also. Still want to see the extended cuts of both movies eventually.

Supposedly the second one has tons of extras. With how much is jammed into the movie, I can only imagine its true.

Watching big as Spider on sci fi. One of their worst...

Yes in a online review of the second movie they said that they shot enough extra stuff that they could have made two movies instead of one.  That also explains why the second movies budget was almost twice as big.

That movie always gives me the chills. I'm hoping for a blu-ray release some day.
You watched the 1971 version I guess? I think I started watching the remake on tv once, I'm sure I didn't finish watching it. Can't remember much of the remake.

Ah, there is a German blu-ray. That's the fourth blu-ray I'm looking for that is not available here.
Maybe time to buy a multi region blu-ray player.
