Nebraska, good movie. Depressing and uplifting at the same time, wonderful cast of characters. 7.5/10

Cosmos was great last night definitely will watch the remaining 12 episodes.

Out tomorrow:

Disney hasn't announced the US version yet, nor do they have the license anymore for Princess Mononoke. So, I ordered it from Hong Kong.

^ Ah, I thought the face looked familiar. Apparently she was one of the farm girls in Inglorious basterds.

Mononoke will have english subtitles, not sure if it has the 5.1 upgraded sountrack. YESASIA says it does, play-asia doesn't. The Japan version also has the english soundtrack, but is $74 US.

I watched a childhood favorite today with the kids. The only feature length animation movie produced in the Netherlands: Als je behrijpt wat ik bedoel / The dragon that wasn't (or was he) / Dexter the dragon and Bumble the bear. I found and English dubbed version on you tube. (never knew it was dubbed) Our 2 year old is still a bit young for the movie, but our 4 year old loved it. He wants to see it again tomorrow, and the next day.

The dub isn't the best, and a lot of jabs at Dutch society were already weakened in the adaptation of the stories from Marten Toonder, but it's still an excellent movie for young kids. With nostalgia it's an easy 8/10 for me, a 7 is probably a bit more fair.

Anyway here it is, if anyone is interested in the only ever Dutch animation.

watched nymphomaniac vol. 1 & 2 i liked everything except from unnecessary cocks and ugly cunts. overall a very interesting movie to watch. probably his best movie...

Watched 12 Years a Slave very good movie and another great score by Hans Zimmer easily a 9/10.

I haven't watched any movies lately, too sick.

I did watch the 2 hour live from space event on Nat Geo. It wasn't bad, not great either. Hardly any mention of what they actually do up there all day, mostly the usual how does the toilet work and what do you eat plus a lot of looking out the window to earth. (Does nobody ever look at the moon or stars from the iss?)
Somehow they managed to wrangle 9/11 in the show as well. How does it feel to watch a world disaster unfold from space. I was thinking tsunami visible from space? No, somebody lost a friend in 9/11.

Continuum season 3 started. Good to be back. Cliffhanger from season 2 was solved by Alec going back in time 1 week. Now there are 2 of him.

Anyway movies are on hold for a bit, currently addicted to Dark souls 2 and my projector is not looking good atm. (bulb issues, probably needs a new one already after 600 hours ugh)
