I watched Blue is the warmest color. Mesmerizing movie with all the close ups and great acting. Tarantino style filming, it lets the scene play out at it's own pace letting you really feel the tension during the scenes.
The sex scenes stood out a bit, the professional looking lesbian porn didn't really fit in with the realism of the rest of the movie. Strange to be complaining about that, but I didn't get that first time tension from it as I did from the rest of the movie. And I must comment on Adele's hair, that played a whole character on its own during the movie, take that tressfx.

The only minor flaw I can find on the blu-ray is that it seems to have lip sync issues now and then. It could be me though, hard to follow when they're talking fast in French. Too bad I don't speak more then a few words of French cause it does put a small barrier between you and the movie while reading along in a different language. Beautiful language to be angry in, they say it's the language of love, but cursing sounds awesome in French. 8.5/10

Meh, the best and best sounding Latin language is still Italian plus the Italians are better at making movies also.

Excellent finale to Gold Rush. Go Parker! It must be so frustrating to have to stop for winter, but wow what a first season. Never thought I would still be looking forward to watch a 4th season of people digging in the ground.

French>Italian imo. As far as sound goes. Italian can become annoying and slightly repetitive lol

Nah Italian is a far more beautiful language play Assasins Creed 2 in Italian its amazing.  Or watch a good Italian movie in its original language or listen to some Andrea Bocelli nothing in French can top that.  Also since its the closest to its orgin language Latin its also a lot more purer then all the other romantic languages.

Watch Amelie

'nough said!

Nah French is too annoying a laguage for me to watch Amelie or any other French movie plus the Italians are much better in making movies I rather watch Live is Beautiful in Italian or one of the movies in the man with no name trilogy in Italian.  Its not like I totally hate France I have a French surname and some French ancestry and In Forza 4 and Forza 5 Peugeout was the first manufacturer I got to max affinity level.  Its just the language I can't stand much.  I pretty much prefer all the other romance languages even though I'm not that familiar with Portugues and Romanian.  Plus Italy gave us the best movie composer of all time in Ennio Morricone and he also composed the music for the best song of 2012 "Ancora Qui" from Django Unchained sung by one of the most talented female singers Elisa Toffoli she not only sounds great in Italian but she can sing in English like its her native language.

While I was playing ETS2 for me it was: Antenne Niedersachsen > French radio > Italian radio.

As much as I like driving games I couldn't see myself playing ETS2.  Although I must say the demo for 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker on the Dreamcast was somewhat entertaining.

It's driving sim / rpg lite / economic sim, while driving over half of Europe. I bought it in a sale, though it would be fun for maybe a couple hours, and ended up playing it for almost a hundred. Brilliant touch to have all the European internet radio stations linked to the in game radio.

I watched the screcet of Nimh. Great animation. What happened to forests in animation. They used to be closed in, moody, scary places. Nowadays they're bright, open and inviting. I guess it's the effect of the eco movement. Pacing is great, nice music, it draws you in without having to wow you with crazy action scenes. 7.5/10

Unfortunately they didn't put any effort in the blu-ray version. The sound is fine (lossless stereo) The picture doesn't hold up so nicely. The heavy film grain is fine, but brightness seems to flicker now and then, print damage is frequently visible, and the whole picture also moves back and forth horizontally occasionally. I guess it does a good job of emulating the movie at an old dollar show.

I watched Argo tonight. It started out good then devolved into a long drawn out Hollywood cliche. The fake tension just kept getting worse and worse. Oh no, can't get the president on the phone to approve the airline tickets until the last second. The studio agents can't get to the phone until the last ring. They're found out but apparently there is no phone in the control tower so they'll speed after a 747 in little police cars, driving behind the jet engines at 180mph during take-off.
At least it was nice to show that the whole situation started because of 26 years of a US backed dictator. It didn't stop them from demonizing the Iranian people for the remainder of the movie though.
Fake tension everywhere. 5/10

The blu-ray at least included a documentary on what really happened. It was more interesting than the movie.

My next attempt to watch digital:

After a bad experience with Pacific rim streaming (picture breaking up halfway, having to rewind multiple times and wait for the internet to clear up) I decided to try again on ps3 with Nebraska. It wouldn't let me. I tried deactivating my ps4, deactivating all systems through psn, searching online, still no go. Apparently my old (dead) 80gb ps3 was still registered for movies. After a 15 minute wait for live chat it finally got sorted.
Now it's pre-downloading, estimated 130 minutes for 4.9gb, 15 minutes longer than the movie although according to the speed test I should have no problem watching it streaming in HD...

I would rather rent the blu-ray (it costs $35 atm too much) But I guess for a slow paced black and white movie the lower bit rate shouldn't be too bad. If Blockbuster was still open I would have already been watching it half an hour ago :/
