Go up a few posts, you will see it. I will not waste my time looking for anything Neogaf related. It is up there though.

As much as this is my home, there are things happening at gaf that don't happen here and that would be so awesome, as an example, I just want to show you 3 community-made pics or posts by our Nintendo cousins over there

They even made their own hype train!

We should have one too haha

They have their own tickets too

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=35683499&postcount=13830

It could give us an idea of how others do things and inspire some more humor in our posts. Btw this is from their WiiU hype thread.

I'm not one for hype, but humor is always great.

Trust me playing with the 3DS and having the D-pad directly under the circle pad is not that smooth if your hands are fully grown

The big problem I have with the 3DS D-pad is the fact that it's positioned so low on the unit, that there is no plastic below it to comfortably grip with your hand when you use it.  The WiiU controller seems to have plenty of plastic below the D-pad to make the grip comfortable.

Sure if you’re using the D-Pad as the main control it becomes a pain on the 3DS but will work well on the U-pad. I’m more talking about the use of the circle sticks as the main control and switching to the D-pad from time to time. But that’s just what I think

HAHA yeah this is what i meant with "they are funny at GAF"

and thats where i got my hype train adiea from

Most people will get warnings though if they take the thread in another direction for a while when there are no new newsbut in my opinion that makes the wait a bit more bearable

Good idea, I'll use my gaf username so as to not blow my vgchartz cover.

Then, I'll pass by Nintendo's both to obtain some courage and maybe knock a rep unconscious, and grab his Nintendo-rep garnments.

and wear it like a boss, like Indiana Jones!

Then I'll pass by AMD to pick up some power, and a business card.

Hopefully with those two items, I'll have all the chance I need to access the Wisdom at Crytek and win the TriForce!

Even though we all knew it was coming anyways, this just cements it. Assassin's Creed III is coming to Wii U.

-

New Title Promises to Be Biggest, Most Ambitious in Company’s History

SAN FRANCISCO — March 5, 2012 — Assassin’s Creed® III will hit store shelves on October 30, 2012, encouraging gamers to experience the American Revolutionary War not written about in history books. The largest project in Ubisoft’s history also introduces a new hero for the ages.

With a development cycle of over three years and twice the production capacity of any previous Ubisoft game, Assassin’s Creed III is set to release on the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Windows PC and is also in development for Wii U™ from Nintendo. Assassin’s Creed III is developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with six other Ubisoft studios.

Set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, Assassin’s Creed III introduces a new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. Players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. Assassin’s Creed III spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the vibrant, untamed frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.

Assassin’s Creed III is powered by Ubisoft-AnvilNext, a revolutionary new game engine that delivers breakthroughs in visual quality, character models and artificial intelligence. Assassin’s Creed III will feature a ground-breaking level of stunning graphics that bring Colonial America to life.

“Assassin’s Creed III features the franchise’s most expansive setting so far, along with an exciting new hero and exponentially more gameplay,” said Yves Guillemot, chief executive officer at Ubisoft. “Whether you’re a longtime fan of Assassin’s Creed or if you’re new to the franchise, you’re going to be blown away by the scale and marvel of Assassin’s Creed III.”

Additional Assassin’s Creed III details can be found in an exclusive cover feature in Game Informer Magazine’s April issue.

Gamers who pre-order Assassin’s Creed III at GameStop®, Amazon.com or Best Buy® will receive a Limited Edition collectible case featuring artwork created by award-winning comic book artist Alex Ross.

Assassin’s Creed III also can be pre-ordered at UBIShop® by visiting: http://shop.ubi.com/assassinscreed3

New artwork from Assassin’s Creed III also will be featured in Assassin’s Creed Recollection, the real-time board game for the iPad.

For more information on Assassin’s Creed, please visit the Assassin’s Creed Official Website (www.assassinscreed.com) and facebook.com/assassinscreed.

Someone should make a Nintendo GDC thread! I would, but I will give someone else a chance or I would have tonight.

Tomorrow Starts GDC 2012: Here's What I Expect to See from the Wii U

By Nathanial Rumphol-Janc on March 4, 2012 11:00 AM | Permalink | 286 Comments
Something we haven't talked about much lately is the fact that one of the biggest gaming news events of the year is almost upon us. Tomorrow starts the wave of information about this years latest and greatest, and surely we are about to be slammed with tons of new games, footage, screenshots, and information surrounding the Wii U. As the only next generation console that is coming out this year (unless the rumored Steam box makes it's way public), there are going to be a lot of expectations put out there.

Keep 'em comin' Ryan!
