If they release a better looking phat version I would buy it cause it at least was more comfortable to hold and play for several hours.

Well, Elite Beat Agents is my single favourite DS game, and I put quite a lot of time into Pokemon Black, but I'm going to have to go with the year that brought us Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, and Phoenix Wright :)

2008. Some of my favorite games came out that year; Chrono Trigger, The World Ends With You, Castlevania Order or Ecclesia, Dragon Quest IV, Final Fantasy Tactics A2, Etrian Odyssey 2, and Professor Layton.

I purchased a whopping 11 DS games that year!
