I think like you said there is some "hype" for it in America. 75,000-100,000 is what I will say. If they can keep it from being a Gamestop exclusive that would be even better!

A what now? Retailer exclusive games is an alien concept to me. Surely that's only an initial launch thing.

Xenoblade which was part of project rainfall as well as the last story and Pandora's tower, is supposedly only going to be sold at gamestop in America.

Gamestop must hand over a ton of money to get that sort of deal. I suppose for Gamestop 100% of 500K sales is better than 50% of 750K sales, or something like that. Not so much for the publisher, which of course is where the money hatting comes in.

Vita adjusted down a little, still over 500k, and PS3 adjusted up (from Japan's difference with MC)

Also, noticed TLS launched to 35k in Europe. That's not brilliant.

Well, considering that it's probably very limited in quantity, on a dying system and the economy is going through dificult times. I think we can say this was the most expected. :/

Have JRPGs sold well on the Wii in Europe in general? I don't recall any really standing out. So I would think TLS is meeting expectations, and that's just fine.

Not particularly. However, TLS sold slightly more first week than Xenoblade (I believe), so I think we can see around 200k LT in Europe. Add this to the 180k from Japan and probably 250k from American, you're looking at around 550-700k LT sales Worldwide, very good for a JRPG on Wii, heck, any console!

Especially since it hasn't been advertised on TV, and with GAME not stocking it. IT's sold out pretty much everywhere in the high street.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Everything up now.

Uncharted 3 keeps on going along nicely :D 59k this week :O golden abyss did well too.

Don't make us wait that long for Global Numbers again!

Gran Turismo 5...

Sold 25,188 units this week.

7,264,520 LTD.

224,793 in 2012.

Hmm it appears they added 5k to the final ps3 number in japan.

Not sure if you guys are talking about TLS or Xenoblade but you could pre-order TLS on Amazon in US. Although If its xenoblade youre talking about then yes that is a Gamestop exclusive.

Nice week overall. Sony needs to make sure PSV keeps some legs in the West after launch dies off, and it needs to boost it in Japan... Maybe a Giant Horny Octopus could do?
