They're already doing this with some games.

Anyway like I said before, no one is expecting PS3 or 360 owners to switch over to a Vita.

If 3G allowed for mp then this would have been a great hit. Now that we know you cant play mp with 3G....it puts a damper on things. Being at home playing COD mp on VITA through wifi is kinda silly if you got the home console version... :/

i think the game will sell this year 2.4 million copies and lifetime sales around 8 million.

Share similar views as you, maybe 1-2 million range the first year. 

As someone who buys call of duty, don't really see a reason to pick up the vita version above the others.

This is really interesting. I wasnt really expecting COD to give any significant bump to Vita, but after seeing this, it may well totally change the faith of Vita.

But isn't the Vita being targeted towards the PS3/360 crowd who are looking for a handheld gaming device?

I like the idea of getting the PS3 version and Vita for free, but I don't think thats going to happen at any point.

It's clear that we Sony needs to give us more information on this title! Either way, lots of people are predicting high numbers (that would definitely have an impact on Vita hardware)

Yup, a version of "Modern Warfare 3" made an appearance on DS. I couldn't even tell you how many I've sold, but it's been a lot.
