I say it will do 1 million FW

I guess it will not sell that well if it just a port of the yearly console CoD. If it is though, another factor would be whether it has cross-platform play with the Playstation 3 (or not). If it is an unique game, I won't be surprised if it sells 4+ million in it's first six months. With the already big amount of developers working on Call of Duty games though, I can't see yet another company making a separate CoD installment for the Vita. I think it will be just a port and sell about 1.3 million lifetime.

Being a huge COD buff, I can't see myself getting the Vita for COD or COD for Vita. Its very likely going to be just a port of Black Ops 2 or whatever COD that comes out this fall, which obviously I'll be getting. But I'll be getting it for my 360 where I can get the full experience on my huge screen. After spending about £40 on the console version, there's no way in heck that I'm spending another £40 on a portable version just so that I can carry it around with me, no friggin way.

It would have been nice though if you could somehow hook the Vita up to your TV to play your games at home (with the PS3 maybe) and have cross platform play with the PS3.

CoD will be big! I think people will be happy enough playing an FPS on the move to live without multiplayer everywhere

So now it's a prediction thread, eh? Okay. I'll play.

I buy a lot of games. Sometimes, I experiment on new games. A lot of times, I buy the new "must have" game of the moment. If it's interesting and I'm not burned out, chances are good that I'll buy it. I look at the Vita library and I see some games with great potential like Gravity Rush. It's a day one buy, for me. I see a game like Uncharted. I don't think it will be a game that blows me away, aside from the graphics but I can see myself buying it. I see games like Wipeout, Hot Shots Golf, LBP, Mod Nation Racers, and Ridge Racer and I know I wouldn't be able to tell one game in the series from another, if you showed me a screenshot. These series have absolutely NO appeal to me. Same goes for ports.

I see a tremendous lack of "must buy" games for the Vita. What I'm getting at is this: Call of Duty may not have much competition aside from a lot of niche games and experiments. It's the closest thing the Vita will have to a sure thing. Though I'm going to buy a Vita, likely the same day of the real launch, I don't think the rest of the world is going to bite. By the end of the year, I think there will be around 8 Million Vitas sold worlwide. I think that only 6 million of those will be from Call of Duty's biggest audience (USA). I believe that 30% of those six million will buy the game (a great attach rate for even the best games).

My guess: 1.8-2million within 6 months of the games release.

I expect less than the PSP GTA so around 2 million lifetime

Impossible to predict sales at this point. The Vita doesn't even have an install base in the US or Europe yet..
If there's a custom Vita bundle with the game, I can easily see it selling 800k-1mil copies.

If Vita has a good install base by November it could end up having long sexy legs. I predict 5 mil lifetime.
