Not entirely sure why we're listening to a developer that has mostly only ever worked on Sony platforms but there you go...

And Xbox if I'm not mistaken

No Xbox listed in their portfolio.

Release Date Titles Genre Platform(s)
2009 Gravity Crash Multidirectional shooter Playstation 3, Playstation Portable
2011 Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD First-person/Third-person action-adventure Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita
2012 Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee HD Platform Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita
2012 Oddworld: Abe HD Side-Scrolling, Platform Windows, PlayStation 3, TBA
TBA Oddworld: Hand of Odd Real-time strategy, Online TBA (possible release on Tablet computers)

They really don't strike me as a multiplatform developer in the classic sense (i.e. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo or any combination of them).

DAH! Something's fishy, wouldn't you say? :)

Oh, I thought they did the original Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath and Munch's Oddysee. Was that another studio??

That was Oddworld Inhabitants. These guys just did the PS3/PC ports as listed above.

Nintendo should not release big games at launch, so third parties has a chance to do some good sales. Right?

Like what happened with 3DS? Nintendo consoles absolutely depend on first party games, so not releasing big Nintendo games at launch would be a mistake

You can’t see the sarcasm in his post?

Anyway I Just Don’t Know these guys so I Just Don’t Care if they want to support them or not

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Somebody is cranky that they did not get a Dev Kit. 8*>

Seriously, why does there appear to be some extreme anti-Nintendoism on the part of some European journalists and companies?

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

This is at best only a small fire for the Wii U doom train, so just add water.

Looks more like a "Just Add Water"-Is-Doomed Thread to me.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

I like the be into the doom train. What will be the next station?

dismal third party support all thanks to companies like Ubisoft and EA whom released terrible ports for Nintendo platforms. Good third party support is critical for securing future success and taking the pressure off first and second party developers. Nintendo 64, Gamecube and Wii and the Nintendo portables endured substandard third party support.

Seriously though, Just Add Water isn't a developer that I expected to develop something for the Wii U (or anything non-Playstation), so nothing really new here.

?

What is the "standard" for portables?
