I will never ever buy this game or support Ninja Theory. Entirely because of the insulting attitude towards fans of the series and just in general they have had all throughout it's development. They seem to take glee in annoying the fans of the series.

Beyond mishandling the series the things they have said have been beyond stupid. Highlights such as Dante would get beat up in any other bar except for in Tokyo. I lived in Tokyo for years. I would say I dress more out there than Dante. Despite this I have also lived/spent time in the UK, America (from New York to tiny towns with populations of a few thousand), Thailand, France, Mexico etc. Not once have I been beat up for the way I dress. I have had people show interest, girls try and chat me up, drunk with biker gangs etc but never been beaten up because of my clothes. I won't buy a game from people who think ''Oh that person dresses differently they should be beat up''

You go out in a body length red leather jacket without a shirt underneath? Color me impressed.

While you're right, they've acted quite childish in their responses, the fans whining about the most anal of things would have just been grating to them. My understanding was Capcom wanted them to give DMC some Western flavor. NT should have simply said to fans, not our concern, Capcom didn't assign us to make DMC5.

I don't go out shirtless haha however I would say a body length red leather jacket isn't a huge step out there. I have much more out there jackets, jeans, accessories and boots than I would say Dante wears. 

It just disgusted me that they took the attitude of ''Oh well Dante would be beat up anywhere but Tokyo'' In my experience it couldn't be further from the truth. Dressing out there makes people friendlier most of the times. To me it showed that actually it was the developer themself thinking ''Well I would beat him up so surely other people would!'' 

Even if we take NT's view, well Dante is a half-human and half-demon with supernatural powers. Why would he care what other people thought?! He is meant to be arrogant, he would like dressing out there to provoke people into some sort of response.

Really? Do they think people give a shit about why Dante has white hair?

That would depend on whether it's interesting, wouldn't it? Why is Kratos so pale? That's an interesting story.

It doesn't really matter what we're dealing with or how iconic that thing is though. It could be any thing on any character that is the way it is because of an adventure, and if that adventure is worth playing through, then why not do it?

I don't care what the haters say, I want to see what they come up with, I like it so far.

I like their confidence, it gives me hope that this might just end up a truly spectacular game :)

hey, NT, wanna know WHY Dante has white hair? He was BORN that way. There's no story behind it, it's just genetic. Although, in Japanese fiction it tends to be a trait to explain demonic or divine lineage. Still. not that goddamned important, ya pretentious, whiny TWATS.

God, Antoniades and Jones piss me off. They seem to aggressively despise anything remotely Japanese/Asian and tout the West like it's somehow vastly superior. Hate to break it to ya guys, but your constant insults against the original games and against the fanbase reveal you as nothing more than a bunch of insecure, thin-skinned (and even xenophobic) babies who can't take criticism. NT is nothing but a hack studio that has made only mediocre games in order to cram their beloved (but painfully average) stories down the the throats of players. This game is going to bomb and when it does I fully expect NT to throw another tantrum ala when Heavenly Sword and Enslaved failed to meet expectations.

PS. The mention of Inafune also helps me remember what an asshole he was before he left the company. Self-xenophobic twat.
