I never thought Dante's hair color was that important really. It doesn't seem to make him more iconic like Krato's pale skin does IMO. But I've never been a big fan of the series so I don't know much about the series. Anyway, as long as the game is good, I'm fine. I could care less about whether it's a Japanese type game or not. Though, I'm sure many die hard fans would disagree with me.

It doesn't really matter what we're dealing with or how iconic that thing is though. It could be any thing on any character that is the way it is because of an adventure, and if that adventure is worth playing through, then why not do it?
