Anyone know when PSP and DS will be ditched from the front page, and replaced by 3DS and Vita? Or is there a new design coming to integrate them all?

Wow disappointing numbers for U3 in US, barely outsold U2 after Christmas week of 2009

Stop being defensive when 2099 speaks, he is a troll waiting for people to engage in stupid arguments

Are you people really assuming he hates sony..... just because he's happy the 3DS is doing better than the Vita?

And PS3 wins the week, as reasonable posters expected

Sheesh you can be annoying. If you're refering to me, I said it wasn't a dead cert like others were saying.

360 had a 100k yoy boost bigger than PS3 over last year, so expecting a difference in sales in the last week of the year wasn't unreasonable. Except it's only 30k drop.

I was just kidding man. You're reasonable on my list, no worries

I did expect them to be closer to be fair, didn't expect a 600k drop in Americas for 360 .....

Neither did I. Especially since many retailers and etailers still had lots of gift card deals on 360 that week, and I figured many people would be spending Christmas money/giftcards on 360 stuff.

I suppose there are always adjustments to look forward to in a few weeks once official shipments and quarterly figures are released.

Either way, erasing the lead the PS3 made over the 360 this past year with no price cut vs. $50 price cut, and less exclusives vs. more exclusives, is pretty darn impressive.

Normally, I'd look at the sales and say, "well ps3 sold the most, not bad. Not particularly interesting, but at least I know that people take it seriously and this will help get more and more developer attention". Kinda boring.

BUT Meltdowns make the numbers really interesting. Thanks for the "meltdown bait" vgc!

Extremely impressive. Kinect is a beast.

just wait CES and NPD Dec 2011

How much did the PS3 sell in 2010 and 2011 then?

Not as bad a drop for the PSV as i expected. Also, seece, the title is misleading. It should say global hardware up.
