360 had a 100k yoy boost bigger than PS3 over last year, so expecting a difference in sales in the last week of the year wasn't unreasonable. Except it's only 30k drop.

I did expect them to be closer to be fair, didn't expect a 600k drop in Americas for 360 .....

Neither did I. Especially since many retailers and etailers still had lots of gift card deals on 360 that week, and I figured many people would be spending Christmas money/giftcards on 360 stuff.

I suppose there are always adjustments to look forward to in a few weeks once official shipments and quarterly figures are released.

Either way, erasing the lead the PS3 made over the 360 this past year with no price cut vs. $50 price cut, and less exclusives vs. more exclusives, is pretty darn impressive.

Extremely impressive. Kinect is a beast.
