The best thing they ever did was push forward even when nobody asked for something new.
Sadly the culture is changing, but I used to love how Sony products always had extras that people bitched about, and said costed to much. In the end it almost always turned into an industry standard, and if you had bought the Sony 3 years ago, you were still up with the times.
I have always loved watching others spend $700 on something I spent $1000 just to see them buy the comparable product years later for another $700 while my original product is still going strong, and arguably still better.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

Err, umm, ahh.... Ratchet and Clank! Okay, there I found something. ;) Oh and I guess I can congratulate them on the PS3's graphics engine.

Of course! Cuteness always wins in my book.
Walkman by a country mile.
Ps1 (and thus ps2 and ps3) is all thanks to Nintendo at the end of the day.
At least Sony created the walkman without stealing ideas from other companies (Nintendo)
