Forums - Movies & TV - What Is The Greatest James Bond Film?

Casino Royawesome. (trademark: Nathan Fillion)

Wow, such a wide variety of choices; and it is true, there is no greatest Bond film, it is a matter of taste; and there are large audiences who have a variety of different favourites. I can't list just one, so I'll give my favourite 5.

1. On Her Majesties Secret Service
2. From Russia With Love
3. Living Daylights
4. Live and Let Die
5. License to Kill

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Golden Eye! or Moonraker

Goldfinger. Best villain.

Damn... tough.

I think I will go with Goldeneye, though I believe part of my fondness for it stems from playing the game.

I still think it is a good film though. I also like:
Goldfinger, You Only Live Twice, The Man with the Golden Gun, The World is Not Enough and the new Casino Royale.

In terms of Bonds:
Connery >>>> Brosnan> Craig >>>> Dalton >> Moore >>> Lazenby

Brosnan would be closer to Connery if it wasn't for Die Another Day, and I would guess another couple of decent films will push Craig up into 2nd, and while I think Moore got some of the best storylines, he gets on my nerves

From Russia With Love comes in first with Goldfinger getting close second.

I liked The World is Not Enough because of Denise Richards. In other aspects, I feel it falls short.

?!?!? Really Denise Richards? She wasn't very good and so not believable as a nuclear technician (or something like that) Sophie Marceau was better.

Cmon, are you kidding? She was totally believable as a nuclear technician!

Oh yeah.
