I haven't gotten it yet, but if the rumors that Netflix parties have been stealth removed, then I will give it the negative treatment it deserves.

Positive so far.

Great stuff, have worked most of it out and have no problem with any of it....

Except.......

When I go to " my games" I can't view/sort/filter full games. If I only had a dozen or so arcade titles, it wouldn't really matter, but I have close to 200, heaps of which I bought on various sales over the years. Since I've probably only played a third of them, being able to go through "my games/full games" and scroll through often helps me quickly find what I haven't played yet and take it for a spin.

Now with no "full games" filter and only an "arcade" filter, I gave to scroll through 475 games and demos, with no way of quickly knowing which is a demo or full game I haven't played yet without clicking on each title. Time consuming when I wanna just find a new arcade game for a quick bash. It's really annoying. All they need to do is add "full games" to the sort filter in my games. Patch quick!

Maybe they think I'm more likely to turn some of those demos to purchases if I'm forced to scroll through them so often, but truth be told, I'm more likely just to go to an old favourite for the "chaser unwind game" (usually mtg, poker or rez) rather than go through my library.

Loved beacons, love voice control ( all smooth except that Bing seems a bit wonky for voice search with my Aussie accent), refined gesture control is refined!, big huge recent games list is amazing.

Still - fix that full games error (it has to be, they really couldn't consciously be stuffing around good customers who have bought a heap of games could they?) And they'd get a 9/10 from me. Add the much promised YouTube, iview etc and its a 10.

I'm getting used to it now, but someone mentioned that it was faster, for me it is a lot slower. :/

I've been apart of they beta program so I've had plenty of time to get used to everything. I really enjoy the new dash and all the new goodies like beacons, cloud, etc. The new Netflix interface is much better. They got rid of the party stuff(That I never used), but in replacement they have Dolby Digital 5.1, 720p HD support, streaming optimizes to picture quality so no buffering, and everything can be controlled with voice commands and hand gestured with Kinect.

It is kind of sad that you have to pay for Gold and still have to go through advertisements, for the rest I was in the beta and didn't saw any changes with the last update..No youtube, no Apps...I only enjoy the beacons that you can make....now I always get a pop up when someone start to play Gears of war 3 from my friends .

surprised , Netflix (especially the screensize) has been the subject of lot of complaints on xbox.com...Well can't really check it for myself :s

I like it, but it makes me wish I had Kinect (and the game room circumstances to use it).

The separate app focus is interesting, especially in light of the news from yesterday about the Windows Store for Windows 8. Will we see cross pay apps for W8, WP8 and the 360?

For me the update has really made Netflix so much better.  My internet is slow, so it would constantly buffer and quality would go up and down, but now it stays steady and doesn't buffer at all.

This update is an abomination. Netflix is so awful now it isn't even funny. Why does everything play automatically when you click on it? Why have parties been stealth removed? Why is the video quality terrible when I know my connection is fine?

Since when is it ok to slap ads for crap ALL OVER the freaking dashboard? I mean seriously? This update is top to bottom a pile of garbage. I want the old dashboard back now.
