Upon first impression, I thought it was too crammed together. I'm slowly getting more used to this. I do think it looks a lot sleeker and more presentable. I tried out Kinect with it, and I can actually say I was impressed with how fast it reacted to my demands.

I like Netflix better (even though it took some time to get used to). I just can't wait for Fios TV to come! Hopefully they won't screw it up!!

ROFL. Whats really funny is the gamin related relevant adds are the big ones. And nothing feels out of place. The ads DONOT hinder your navigaton at ALL.

Guess we sould all stop using Smartphones and VGC and well everything.  

I pay for TV licsence yet have adverts every 8 mins.

The ads are perfecty fine an unintrusive.

1) You got not one yetbe cause you can certainly have one;. I had one from the fortis bank, - before you saw no ads except if you scrolled a few boxes to the right now you see them always, - one of the complaints of the is also that they play whole the time and with no surprise to lead to complaints because they eat bandwith...ofcourse no problem for you but for a group it is especially the ones who have a deal with their tv provider and get only 5 GB of bandwith for free..

Well don't have an smartphone can't comment about that and the channels I watch lucky don't have ads but I am not going to discuss this further with you, I already should be happy that we didn't got 'OMG the new dashboard best graphics EVAAAR'  thread yet from you.

The PS3 doesnt have ads like these all over the place so I find Selnors "everything" to be quite untrue.
Just accept that a few people don't like it that much >_>..

In the UK all providers do unlimited BB at insanely cheap prices. 

For example I have 20mb connection unlimited for £10/month. About $16.

You can get 2 mb BB unlimited in UK £4.99/month. Around $7.99.

I have NFL season tickets for 4 seats. They cost me about $300 per ticket per home game. The team sends me advertisements from there sponsors all year. They have advertisements up at the stadium all over. They make announcements and show videos during the game. People now have these things called fanvisions which show stats and videos during the games. Yup we get advertisements on them as well. You get my point advertisements are away of life.

The new dashboard has 1 advertisement in the lower right that may have nothing to do with the content you are looking at. Otherwise when on video tab you get promotions for movies and tv shows available on the services. On the games tab you get promotions about games and DLC. On the music tab you get promotions about music and artists, etc. etc. I like this I dont want static images...It gets boring otherwise.

I couldnt care less if people do or dont ike the new dash. But using ads as a reason is ssd considering Android, Iphone and pretty muc everything else is way worse than XBD. XBD has  couple ads here and there. relevant ones to. UNlike my wifes Android phone. Now that is a reason to complain about adverts.

but for 360 once you log in,you already in the store

like i said,even blade have ads in frontpage and Metro is faster than NXE=you can leave the dashboard faster than NXE if you feel the ads are laughing at you

Having advertisements is in every demographics something negative......that you see it is not an issue and try it spin it in something positive is sad...

That you have to compare an console wiht an android and other not related stuff and don't compare it with related stuff like the Wii or PS3 is sad....

but what is more sad...if the PS3 was the victim and got advertisments you would have said with a smile  'I glady pay 60 bucks a year for Xbox live to not see advertisments lol'   ....THAT IS SAD...
