That my PC can display 1080p video fluently! O.O

Game looks great, too, but those fast movements almost made me sick.

looks good,better than my ps3 but that is to be expected

i think i could have played it on my pc not on high obviously,but it only works when it feels like it at the moment so stuck with my console

It doesn't need to be exclusive. Look at BF3, incredibly good looking PC game. Crysis 2 looks so much better on PC with DX11, same with Metro.


and Deus Ex , Two Worlds 2 , Portal 2 (basically all Valve games) , Mass Effect , Dragon Age ... the list goes on really.

he didn't say crappy graphics, lots of games look good on consoles, for example Super Mario land looks great on SNES, final fantasy looks great on PSP Uncharted looks great on PS3, even though these have crappy graphical abilities compared to computers today

Right this makes so much sense.

Uncharted 3 is one of the best looking game out there but it was made on a console with crappy ''abilities''. Naughty Dogs MUST BE GODS!

I just don't think it makes for interesting discussions when people use strong terms in such a casual way (like crappy or flop or bomb and the likes). It's overdramatic and these people beg for attention.

So either you don't know what crappy means or you really don't think crap is that bad.

Gods for making the most scripted and linear games and yet still have bugs and some odd design choices ?  sure, not to mention the broken online.

~5-10 seccond load times on my PC (wold be less if I hadn't tweaked my ini files to increase draw distance and preloading or I had an SSD) vs the ~30-60 seccond load times on consoles plus the ability to see furthur in the distance and framerate is usally ~40fps vs sub 30 on consoles.

Yup I think that extra power makes a big difference to the game even without mods.

We already knew the Xbox 360's ATi X1950 graphics chip is ancient. So what changes? There have been been 6 generations of graphics cards since then.

Yes "Better" but even if you play this on an Iphone you are still playing Skyrim

True, but that does nothing to change the fact that the game itself was designed around and for consoles. The UI and controls are still pretty shoddy on the PC.
