The stupidity of the PC elitism amazes me, I own both a PS3 and a decent PC, its not a top of the line PC but its in the top half, until today I havent found 1 game that doesnt run on highest settings on it. The truth is the PC graphics and the console graphics are not that diferent, Pc is better but in the end the fun you have with the game doesnt realy depend on that extra couple of frames per second.

I end up playing almost everything on the PS3, only when theres a game Im not that into I get it for PC cause its cheaper, specialy in Brazil where taxes are stupid on console games. And why exactly do we need graphics better tham this ? I agree graphics needed developping on pre HD era, but now they already look better tham reality in some cases...

no one is being elitist here, i'm only showing what its looks like for people who don't know, what i got is people getting mad for no reason , like you

the amount of hate one gets when talking about PC games amazes me. also the amount of hate PC and Handhelds get from console gamers amaze me as well, can't you guys accept that others enjoy something else?

Actualy theres quite a bit of PC elitism going on here, not saying its from you but in general this thread has PC elitism all over. And as I said it looks better wich in no way shape or form makes the game any more or less fun tham the non better looking version, wich is the inportant part ultimately. Also if you dont have both the PC and the console version running simultaneously your brain can hardly process the diference in graphics from one to the other as they arent very large.

And if there were no consoles most likely the graphics of todays games would be better in general, but  as I said before do we even need better graphics, 1920p is overkill imo.

thats not true at all, i have both versions and with only the first minutes of playing the PS3 version i noticed the difference

and its not called 1920p its 1080p.

Do we need better graphics? no we don't , we need better experiences, thats what PC gamers want, hence why they love mods.

I just don't think it makes for interesting discussions when people use strong terms in such a casual way (like crappy or flop or bomb and the likes). It's overdramatic and these people beg for attention.

So either you don't know what crappy means or you really don't think crap is that bad.

Well that was kind of a crappy comparison, my apologies, since one is open world and the other is linear/scripted. Still, I found the water during the pirate ship level in uncharted 3 to be mind blowing. To each his own.

Blatantly false and well known to be. Both that the difference is not very large and that you can't spot it. The eyes and brain do not magically stop spotting things at higher resolutions and with added depth and effects. I don't know whether you actually believe this or just read it somewhere but it is simply not true, not even close.

I'm guessing you're also one of those who can't spot the difference between DVD's and Blu-ray movies, right?

It's odd that you don't even see how close-minded you are about all this and how you seem to avoid the subject.

Calling the Wii's technical capacities crappy has never been accepted on this forum so I don't see what makes it okay when it comes to HD consoles?..
