pshht who shops in physical stores anymore. Got a fullsized ping pong table from walmart.com for 67$ plus 10$ shipping and handling and call of duty WAW for 7 bucks on amazon. And btw amazon was sold out of the $200 ps3s and 360s with kinect but they are back in stock again for those who missed it.

Tried to get a ps3 for my brother at Walmart but they were out of the tickets for them at least an hour before the sale started at 10. I didn't ask about anything else. I went to Target 20 minutes after they opened and after the long line to get into the store was directed to the area with the systems. They were out of 360s I got one of the last few PS3s and there were plenty of Wiis still. They didn't have the handhelds there so I have no idea.

So far kinect appears to be the big item in gaming...atleast here in the USA. This was expected though as it was high on a lot of the prepublished want lists.

Pretty much the same as the OP's experience. The PS3s went up at 10 and I went to check on them at 10:20 and they were all gone. There weren't even people in line asking about them, they had cleared off already. I would imagine the same was true for the 360. Didn't check on the Wiis or Kinect itself. I also went to Toys R Us. They were out of all 160GB PS3s, but still had 3 or 4 320GB ones. Still had like 4 or 5 360 bundles, but I imagine they didn't stay there long after I left. Looks like 360 and PS3 were the major sellers this Black Friday. Can't wait til we get some early numbers.

Edit: Oh and there was a fist fight amongst a large group of black people over a fucking shitty $35 dollar Boost touchscreen phone.  Black Friday is a whacky day.

Sent my GF ('cause I'm not crazy!) to Wal-Mart to grab three items:
1. $199 Kinect 4GB bundle w/ $50 gift card for nephew whose 360 was taken in college
2. $300 or less laptop for daughter
3 $180 3DS w/ Mario 3D Land for for daughter

She got there at around 9pm.
It's 6:30am. She's still gone. :(

Amazon Black Friday sales are not fair, half of the stuff does not ship to Canada and they have like no stock.

I am so jealous of all of you! I've been trying hard to send money abroad (I live in Nigeria) so a friend can buy me the Zelda 3DS bundle, but no luck! And now it's gone! I don't mind buying the Zelda 3DS bundle at regular price when I travel sometime next year..........anyone know when they'll stop selling those? I am preparing from now for next year's black friday when I'll buy a 360 with Kinect!

lol I ove how people use anecdotal evidence to say something is gonna be huge. PS3 did 300k last BF, Wii did 600k and so did 360 .. can't see PS3 being a 'major seller' as always people see what they want to believe.

It was amazing. I was camping out for the Amazon Batman Arkham City lightning deal for $28, only to see it get sold out in 3 minutes. Luckily, I chanced Walmart that had just opened and found the last copy of Arkham City and the bonus Arkham Asylum for a combined $28.
