Seriously though Skyrim is such a good game that the bugs don't even really matter. Probably 95% of the people who play Skyrim won't have any problems and even way less than that will have game breaking problems

So really if you bring that game back you are just doing a disservice to yourself.

He did a disservice to himself by buying it in the first place. If you don't like WRPGs, there's really no point in buying Skyrim.

That's true if you don't like WRPGs...but who in their right mind doesn't like WRPGs?!

Sucks, and switching to the pc version doesn't seem fool proof either with regular crashes to desktop reported.
Uninstalled 360 version is the way to go then?
Oh well I guess I'll just wait for a patch when it hits, plenty of other things to play.

Maybe retailers should step up and refund defective product and send it back to the publisher, like steam did when from dust lied about always on DRM.
There is nothing stopping publishers right now from releasing broken games. Reviewers certainly don't mark games down for them not being able to be played onto completion at launch.

Probably the best option at this point. I was thinking about keeping mine but considering they never patched the problem on FO:NV it is unlikely they will here.

Fallout New Vegas isn't made by bethesda, the only one that was made by them is Fallout 3,  troll harder.

My save file is over 7MB and still haven't noticed anything drastic(few bugs here and there and some 5fps slow down when i ride a horse) but i herd the problem is with the ram because Skyrim saves areas you've been to on it and all you need to do is restart or give your console a rest every few hours to reset the "saved areas" on the ram.

But i don't like to keep my PS3 on for longer then 3hrs with at least 2 hour break anyway (im paranoid and i still have a fatty)

I wouldn't let this stop you from playing it dude CAUSE IT'S FREAKING AMAZING!!! this bug may not even affect you. OR you could just get it on steam

If I get that big of a save file before this is fixed I will be surprised. Read the quotes, wagram spinning things aggressively. Yawn.

""Yesterday Bethesda confirmed it was working on a Skyrim update for all three versions of the game.

"We are continuing to work on an update for all platforms to address issues any bugs and perf issues we can," Bethesda PR and marketing boss Pete Hines said.

Hines advised players who have encountered problems to report them using a form on Bethesda's website. ""

I've been playing the PC version for many hours now and I haven't experienced any significant glitches. My pc isn't some ridiculous pc that cost thousands of dollars. I payed around $330 for the parts to build it. The only issues the game has is very occasionally when I'm in the menu the hotkeys don't respond and I need to click them manually with the mouse. Glad I'm not experiencing the issues people are mentioning often. As for the ps3 issue from what I remember from fallout new vegas on ps3 as long as you don't make a ton of new saves you should be fine. Its okay to overwrite every once in a while.

People who appreciate bugfree games and logical classifications for character stats.

But the open world (it's nigh impossible to get near bugfree games if they are open world) and the huge amount of epicness more than makes up for it.

Also there is no such thing as a "bugfree game"

My save file is just over 6mb and ive noticed slow downs but only when running through towns

How long was this game in development for? these bugs im reading about are ridiculous for a game as big as this.

Same thing happened to GT5... a patch fixed it.

this is nonsense IMHO, there are quite a few open world games that dont have anywhere near the problems of these Fallout/ES games.  GTA4, Just Cause 2 is huge and not that much issues. Hell, GTAs for PSP I didnt have an issue with those
