My Step Father had a Restaurant in DC and was shot there (not in the restaurant it was not far away from the white house) because he didnt want to give up his Wallet. After he got shot he was able to keep his Wallet though. This was during the Hippie Time.

If your burgers are half the size of the typical Mickie D's burger, then I would move immediately. Why anyone would want to stay in a nation with puny burgers is beyond me.
PS Don't listen to anyone, McDonalds is freaking delicious and the play pen is always a great place to pick up extra fries in case you are still hungry. Have fun in America. :)

Prices in mainland Europe are terrible, I went to Germany a few days ago and a fast food meal (burger, chips, coke) cost me 6 Euros (9 Dollars) and it was probably a lot smaller than the American meal too.

Here's a picture of their angus burger which is a larger one. The dollar menu one's are quite a bit smaller.

 

But if you want to get a really big burger you got to Burger King.

If you find a gamestop, you can find professor layton for 35bucks, 30 used.
Fast Food in DC will be more expensive then most of America but still very cheap compared to the UK.
You will probably stumble upon at least a few drunk homeless men while in DC. If you want to help them, give them a snack so they can eat, not money, because they will just buy more booze with it.

Doesn't look that big, actually.

And yes, Burger King has notably bigger burgers. In terms of quality they are far behind McDonald's though.

I used to think that too but they are slightly better than McDonalds now IMO.
