The problem with half those benchmarks is half of those games no one really cares about ;D xD

they are also some of the most multi thread freindly, but if you want popular games

Nice to know my Phenom II X6 is barely worse than a Bulldozer processor. :)

And the real kicker is that the X6 is a lot cheaper than the Bulldozer CPU.

@TheVoxelman on twitter

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Oh, looks like somebody made one of those hitler videos about Bulldozer, hehe.

Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Note: an issue with the Steam version of Shogun 2 and the FX-8150 caused the system to crash when it tried to load the level. AMD is looking into the situation.

aint that a pretty picture?

Wow all that hype for this? my stock one I5 (Two levels above) is better =/

damn i actually memorize the words he says even though i don't know the langauge. from seeing this video way too much =/

Ever since I went "enthusiast" with PCs, AMD really has fallen off the grid for me.

Their video cards to make a strong case, however deciding factor for me is that I game with 3 monitors and its still a given that if one wants the best performance with that, 3 GTX580s 3GB versions (watercooled and overclocked to shit hopefully :) ) scale better than anything AMD cards can do.

Single monitor/TV gaming though I'd probably go AMD with a 5970 or 6990.

Yeah, if you do any kind of CPU overclocking and want the best performance in games, AMD processors just aren't good enough. Price be damned. I do like their GPU's though, currently using the HD6950 2GB which isn't even new but it still kicks ass in all the games I've thrown at it thus far (Dead Island, Metro 2033, The Witcher 2 etc).

I am so sad. Is AMD done now?

blah im excited if i had the budget room but what im pissed about is i bet in a few weeks/months i could get a x6 core for 120 or so, basically what i paid for my x4 i just got. at least i can oc it close to 4ghz
