Which Console do you prefer?

I'm sorry but i cant separate one from the other. i also prefer how it plays blu-ray and because i prefer the dualshock to any other controller but bottom line i buy a system for the games, thats what a console is for in the end.

the library of games is the reason people buy them and it's a big part of the console's identity. people buy xbox for gears and halo, nintendo for zelda and mario. i bought the ps3 for valkyria chronicles, wkc, yakuza and jrpgs in general.

Wii because of the games, but then again i've never owned a non-Nintendo console for a long laundry list of reasons

I don't own a 360, so I can't comment on it. I slightly prefer my Wii to my PS3, but I love them both and recognise that both have their own strengths and weaknesses.

The console I am currently playing the most is the one I like the most. It has been the wii, it has been the 360,   it has been the PS3. I no longer care to make big comparisons because they all will provide great entertainment and I never regret buying any of them.

Games = the reason you buy a system, therefore

System = games

Nothing else to it. Any other features are always, always, always, a bonus. I love the way my PSP Go handles my anime/music needs on the go, but I got it for the game first and foremost.

So if you had a system that had a bunch of faults, but some amazing games, you would prefer that system to one that doesn't have all these faults? Sure, you'd still be playing those games on the console if you couldn't play them anywhere else, but I would be wishing I could play them on a better platform.

You'll have to explain that to me, what argument are you trying to make?

360, unreliable back then with RROD, game scratching, no blu-ray, but with all the good games from the PS3 and wonderful exclusives of its own (plus, XBL - which is actually something to categorize under games) wiped the floor with the PS3 which either shared 360 games or lacked an exclusive lineup of its own (solved by the end of '09), was far more reliable, and far more feature-full. In some places, no price-cuts saved it.

Heck, I am an idiot. I should've said Wii vs anything 2006-2009. That's a console that shit all over its competition only because it gave people the games they wanted and literally had nothing else other than games. No DVD. Bad online. No multimedia until Netflix! Just straight up GAMES.
