Blame your country's gas tax.  It's usually taxes that make gas expensive, rather than the actual price of gas.  The same goes for most European countries.  I wish the U.S. favored diesel more often, like European countries do though.  Diesels are more long-living, have loads more torque, and get great milage.

Here in Mexico price is 0.68 USD a liter for regular and 0.76 USD a liter for premium (This is in ALL Mexico, because price is controlled).
But each month the price is going up =(... Damn gas, it gets must of my month money =(

The dollar went up recently, "distorcing" my conversion. Last month the price in dollar was about U$7.80 per gallon.

Well, your country burns gasoline to generate eletric energy. O.o.

obs.: Eletric cars don't mean anything if the source of energy is fossil fuel.
So, in countries like Mexico and Venezuela, and the Medium East, Eletric cars are useless.

Hey fellow CTer! (Manchester here) same price though there was a "sale" at a local gas station for $3.72.

Luckily I only travel about 3,500ish miles a year in total with my new job.

In Europe its something like 1.50 Euro per Liter.+-20-30 Cent. Cheapest gas I saw was in cyprus . TBH I dont look at the prices you cant change it anyway and you have to fill up your car so from my perspective its pointless to pay attention to the prices.

Gas is around $3.50 a gallon here in North Carolina.

I live in Charlotte which is ~15 minutes from South Carolina, and the gas there is much cheaper ($3.20 a gallon), so I usually cross the border to get some gas.

It sucks though, because every time I go to the pump I end up with a total of $62... or in other words, a Wii game with tax. It hurts to think of gas this way...

no almost no trucks if you mean pick-ups etc. with "trucks"

no need for them unless you work in the forrest or so^^
