I was in St. Petersburg, Russia in June and it was about $1.00 per litre for 98 octane. Way cheaper than Canada.

yeah almost the same here. it's crazy if you see us-americans complain about the prices sometimes. i would kill for let's say $5 per gallon.

About US$ 1.50-60 here in Brazil, per liter, and because the dollar earned a lot of the local currency lately. Should it dollar start losing value again, it could easily go above US$ 2.00 in some places.

And gas comes mixed with 20% ethanol and who knows how much water, so don't think you are getting the real deal anyways.

87 and 91 octane? never heard about that haha :)  thought 95 is minimum and then i saw on wiki, that it's calculated different in america or europe. so the 98 from europe (which is pretty standard) is maybe the same like the 91 in america.

87 octane CAD 1.26 / l = $4.62 / gallon

I used to have a Honda civic hybrid, it ran at about 5 to 6 liters / 100 km
Now I have a SUV that uses almost 10 liters / 100 km :(

The trunk space was too small on the hybrid. 2 car seats could just fit in the back. But no room for 2 baby strollers or 1 plus groceries in the trunk :(

I wanted to get a Prius V but the 2nd baby wouldn't wait.

try living in fricken new zealand we get ripped off with everything gas is $2.10 a litre. americans get everything cheap.
