Do not think it will make a difference for TDKR.

What do you all think aboutthis weekend? Pretty lame!

I guess I will have to find a place still sshowing MIB3 or that last Sandler movie., because there is nothing else I care to see other than Moonrise kingdom and maybe The Raven. Those last two are on the bottom of the list.

Ice Age 4 is going to win the weekend and make slightly more then Ice Age 3 did domestically on its opening weekend.  Its already extremely successful overseas I hope they use the profits from it to develop new animated movies.  I don't want to see another Ice Age movie anytime soon.

Great Ice Age 4 opening. Ive expectet it to sell worse than Ice Age 3 but that didnt happened.

And great hold for Amazing Spider man. After this weekend it should be very near 500 Millions worldwide.
At this rate 600 M is almost a confirmed and 700 M very likely possible. 800 M maybe depends of how much it dropped when Dark Knight Rises release.

And Ted is the surprise hit of the year.

I plan on seeing the dark knight rises and the expandables 2 in the cinemas and probably nothing much, after that.

I have not wanted to see another Madagascar or Ice Age flick. Crouching panda.... Panda movie was good, so I was hoping for another one, but it let me down. Plus Van Damme did not have too many lines. Shrek grew stale. Pixar was down for a few movies, but now are sort of back. Maybe I finally have grown totally out of mainstream animation. I enjoyed Arrietty with my kids, and Brave. That has been it for a while though.

Batman comes out Weds?

The earliest The Dark Knight Rises opens is Thursday the 19th in Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zeland, Singapore and Taiwan.  Also I was right about Ice Age 4 it did beat the 3rd movie domestically by a little more then 3 million but its really making big bank overseas its already at $339 million.  Which $69 million ahead of Madagascar 3's overseas total.

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Magic Mike is racking up some serious profit.Ted might end up having the most impressive run of the year after The Avengers.

And after The Hunger Games!

Ah yes , you're right.

Hopefully TDKR will end up being a worthy challenger.

Considering the budget its Steven Soderbergh's most profitable movie.  His other low budget movies didn't make a profit at the box office.
