Imagine if it manages to sneak past one billion, then Disney will have 5 in 2016 :p

- Captain America: Civil War
- Zootopia
- The Jungle Book
- Finding Dory
- Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

25%, are you sure? That sounds really low.

Nope 25% is accurate and that's first week only then it gets lower.  That's why most US films only get about 4-5 weeks in China it just isn't worth it for the studios even if there is demand.  (that does not apply to films co-developed with Chinese companys then it's like the RoW).

Damn :(

Around the Network

Finding Dory grossed $6M yesterday. It is now over $400M

XXX Return of Xander Cage and Resident Evil The Final Chapter are both huge success in China, Xander made $60 million in its first 3 days there while Resident Evil did even better which opened at over $90 million in its first 3 days, that's insane!

Proud to be a Californian.

Mild success domestically, but impressive in foreign markets given it is a mid level budget series (50-90 million range) so every one has turned a profit.

Yeah, I need to go to bed. I read 18 Billion. I was about to say...
