I understand that Fall and Winter are the big times to release games because of Christmas and everything, but I never understood why developers don't take advantage of the summer time? If you look at this year, there has been very little quality games during June-Aug besides maybe 3-4 retailer games and a handful of arcade games. You would think releasing a big name game such as say Gears, Uncharted, or Assassin's Creed would benefit hugely from such a dry season of games. It seems all the best movies release during the summer, why don't games?
