Why does he not hate MOVE?

If he hates motion controls then thats up to him. He has no class and is a pretty piss poor representative of his company but he will learn when he grows up a little.

Other than they seem to have a bit of an issue with MS and take every opportunity to bash them. No other developer thinks its a "fucking joke" or if they do they have more class than to be so childish about it.

I realise however that such a quote is manna from heaven for the OP and many others here.

At this point in time, Move doesn't exist anymore.

Yes it does but the difference with move is games aren't really made for it, games are just given an added option to use it as a controller and it actually works, so we are getting the same games people who just want to play it with move instead of a controller can, so it doesn't take anything away from anyone so nobody who doesn't own it cares.

What games have Move controls? I have seen the HD Wii Sports and I think one other.

I ask in seriousness as I greatly prefer wiimote to dual analog and would consider an FPS with move on my PS3.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_compatible_with_PlayStation_Move

Including Killzone 3, Heavy Rain, Toy Story 3, Ruse, Oddworld several different genres

ok, 1) why isn't this advertised and 2) are any of the controls actually good... similar to Metroid Prime 3 or Conduit?

1. it's on the boxes and mentioned in various commercials (albeit not focused on) so it is advertised but no where near the level MS is advertising Kinect, I think it's mainly due to MSes advertisement budget and the fact they have so many games.

2. Varies from game to game, from what I understand calibration can be an annoyance but once you got your settings down and learn how to calibrate quickly the controls work you'll have to talk to someone with hands on experiance with the specific game to know how well move controls work for it though.

I don't think there are many people on this website who are going to disagree, just look at all the posts above me.

You mean the almost entirely Sony/Nintendo fan comments? Or those that just hate motion control in general? The majority of people who have actually purchased and played Kinect would not agree with you at all.

The people who hate motion controls in general AND the people who acknowledge the fact that Kinect hasn't delivered any great games, contains sub-par hardware and is still far too expensive. You don't have to be a Sony / Nintendo fan to hate Kinect, in fact, it's mainly the XBOX 360 fans who hate Kinect. If people want to buy Kinect then that's fine, but it has absolutely no appeal to hardcore gamers, the "majority of people" who you talk about are casual gamers, who are completely irrelevant to this guys point.

Wow, this entire thing is just wrong...

These guys think they're important , its funny.

I've just come to expect that some gamers are just slugs that want to sit and push buttons and tiny joysticks. Any other movement is just too much effort to expect from them. And that's fine if they want to do that, but don't disparage others if they actually enjoy games that require some kind of movement.

The flying and the sword fighting games in Wii Sports Resort are awesome, in my opinion. The sword fighting games remind me of the ones we would play with wrapping paper tubes as kids - except we don't have to stop when someone gets hurt or the tubes disintegrate.

Kinect is still in its infancy. We have yet to see how with Forza 4, head tracking is going to effect the game or voice control in Mass Effect 3. People seem really happy with a few games on Kinect, and this seems more like publicity stunt than a legitimate perception.

that you could say this

"don't disparage others if they actually enjoy games that require some kind of movement."

just after saying this

"some gamers are just slugs that want to sit and push buttons and tiny joysticks"

makes you look like a hypocrite its alright for you to "disparage" people who have different views to you but its not when others do it

regardless of what these guys say kinect is a success and has achieved its purpose microsoft wanted an option for "casual" gamers on xbox that would rival the wii and kinect is just that... kinect has replaced the wii as the new "it" thing in motion gaming, but personally for myself i don't see much appeal in it

Ironic... coming from you.

You either completely missed what I was saying, or you have no damn clue what irony is.

Well, yeah, Kinect, IMO, is a worthless nuisance indeed for anybody but the lil' ones, so we kinda agree there.
Wii motion controls, however, are done in a far, far, far better way. So, technically, he's just a troll.
