The same thing with the PS3, Wii and Xbox360 I have to buy 6 overpriced controls to play, or I can get a kinect and see how terrible the multiplayer is.

honestly :D calm down. don't take the number 6 too literally, the point he is making has merit and he is not 'insulting' anyone here. it's like saying what if people can't see 3d when talking about 3ds. the biggest selling point of WiiU is the controller right? without multiple controllers being supported at the same time the experience won't be the same. simple as that. no need to get so worked up about it.

You could play 8 player local matches on the Saturn with games like Saturn Bomberman using a multitap.

10 player MP in Saturn bomberman.

Heck, some EA Hockey games on Megadrive (which are awesome BTW) supports 8 player MP.

Lol? Do you even understand what the problem here is? The problem is that Nintendo said they won't sell the controller separately from the console, o you'll have 1 controller per WiiU, but since this new controller is the biggest attraction of the WiiU it's like shooting itself in the foot. What's the point in playing WiiU with a Wiimote+Nun.

Well he does sorta have a point. The Wii U supporting only one controller at once does sound like a bit of a bad idea.

well...though I don't really approve of what Sony did, the article itself didn't seem as bad as the op made it seem(imo) I think what he was getting at was that only one person will truly be able to experience the wii u while others will have to play with wiimotes

though I do find it ridiculous about the "what if you have a family of 6?" question...*looks a Sony* what if you have a family of 8?(which I personally know a family of 8) shit like that makes you look stupid...

The PS3 supports up to seven controllers. Always has.

Too bad there are only 4 games that suppost that much.
