One of the biggest announcements from Konami's pre-E3 conference was a new feature called "Transfarring," which allows you to play games on a portable gaming device such as the PSP and PlayStation Vita, and then transfer the save to the PlayStation 3 to continue the game on there.

In a recent episode of the Kojima Productions podcast, the hosts confirmed that all future major titles for Kojima Productions will support transfarring and therefore have PSVita versions.

"We have a plan moving forward, where all of our major titles will have this transfarring functionality. So you'll buy the next big game from Kojima Productions on PS3, and there'll also be an NGP version [PSVita] and take it on the go."

This essentially means that the PlayStation 3 versions of every one of Kojima Productions' future games will already have the exclusive "Transfarring" feature.

Well, now I'm really sold... on not getting a Vita.

so does that mean you have to buy both versions? or the PS3 version has a Vita version already included? or is vita going to just stream data off PS3? or is Wayne Brady gonna have to choke a bitch? or is there anybody going to listen to my story all about the girl who came to stay? , or it is going to be or not to be?

I'm holding my reservations until they confirm/deny you only need 1 copy of a game to play on both systems.

I suppose Downloadable games will be possible but I'm not sure how disc games will work.

uh... just like how installing works?

Don't think we will get both versions on one disc. Just no way.It will be to expensive for sony.
