Lets say its same price and only $60 and you get both.  For a ps3 owner this is totally fine, i get my game at normal price and don't care if have psvita game or not.  BUT if i'm a vita only user i'm paying $20 more for a game than normal.  And then HOW DO I PLAY IT?  does it come with a code i download the game?  How do i put this ps3 disc in my vita to play?  or does the disc come with a psv cartridge as well?  whatever the case psv users are getting screwed price wise

There is so much confusion in your post O.O.  Sony has said nothing yet but best case scenario is they release 3 copies, one PS3, one Vita, and one combo pack.  If you only have a PS3 buy the PS3 version, this won't change.  Only have a Vita, by the Vita version only (Which will also be an option).  The biggest question is the combo pack; if I have both I don't wanna pay 100 dollars for both I wanna pay like 70-80.

but lets consider modders.  they figure out how to mod a psv to hook up to the tv and play on big screen.  doesn't sound like should be a stretch, hell psp can play on big screen, the gameboy advance could right?

so what are game prices then?  is the psv game going to be same price as ps3 game?  if not, whats to stop most people buying these games solely on psv instead to save $20?  this is not good for a game developer.  $20 per game is a lot of money.

The system just got it's official announcement to the world. Let's give SONY a little while longer to give out the details...

we learned about ngp last e3.

i would expect to know these details a YEAR Later when release date is sometime in next 5 months.

You're asking what if modders make a device, that a whole of a 1000 people in the world are going to buy and arn't going to be sold in stores, are going to cut into PS3 sales of a game?  And lastly no one knows what the pricing of PSV games are going to be as Sony's announced nothing for game pricing.  Everything said in this thread is just speculation.

no we didn't. it was first unvieled in january.

umm not sure what e3 you watched last year but how about no. it was revealed Jan this year. the only thing regarding next gen psp last E3 were ninty fanboy threads on how psp2 is doa based on the 3ds reveal and nothing else

and another thing, these features are still being implimented I'm sure they are still planning things. I think we might hear some solid info from Kojima at TGS

well see that is what i'm trying to figure out.  it just seems very dumb idea to me in general.   we have

1. you have to buy the same game TWICE.  one at $60 and one at $40.

2. if it comes with the PS3 game, then does that mean PSVita ONLY users won't get to play it unless they buy a PS3 game?

For example.  How do I a PS VITA ONLY user get to play MGS5?  Do i have to buy a $60 ps3 game? and then how do i get it to play on my psvita?  i can't put the disc in my ps vita.  i can't put the disc into the computer.  Or do i get to just buy a $40 psvita game?  then does that mean all that work kojima put into making mgs5 i bought it for ONLY $40?  Or am I forced to buy some kind of a double pack for like $90 or something that has both ps3 and vita game?  What do i do with my ps3 version that i can't use since i don't have a ps3?

same situation reversed to ps3 ONLY user.  Do i have to buy a say $90 game just because it comes with a Vita version as well?  Or am i stuck paying $60 when the same game is only $40 on psvita?  why am i getting ripped off?

now as for double owner.  Do i have to spend $90-100 for ONE GAME.  or should i just buy it on my psvita cause cheapest and same game?


heck i didnt even consider all that.

Also lets say SCE is stupid enough to sell two copies of a game for the price of one or somethin. HOW THE HECK WOULD THEY KNOW IF THE OWNER OF THE PS3 AND THE VITA IS THE SAME PERSON???

This is good news, more Vita games and game saves that can be transferred between consoles. Someone like EA could benefit from something like that for FIFA or Madden.
