Nintendo is AGAIN one generation behind if there flagship titles will also be released for current generation consoles. I am so confused about the Wii U. First of all, how can someone name the successor of their last console Wii U. Are you sure? Is the controller also the hardware? I mean, wtf?

The second they announced Smash Bros 3DS and WiiU they already won. Seriously, the crowd was CHEERING. The WiiU stole the show hands down. Plus the conference was well-presented and smooth. It was actually INTERESTING.

I am left tremendously disappointed.

I can't believe that with a new console announced they can't announce new games.

Multiplatform games coming on the Wii U is absolutely not exciting.

The Wii U does show a lot of potential but the conference itself was bad.

I give it a 7.5, best out of 3.
3DS stuff was brillaint.
 On the WiiU thing they really didn't deliver. Aside from the controller, that thing doesn't seem to do anything that the PS3 or 360 can't, with multiplat upon multiplat upon multiplat.

9/10 for me.

Nintendo showed footage for 15 3DS games, Zelda Wii and 10 Wii U games. This is more then Sony and Microsoft did combined in their press conferences.

They also showed that gory M rated games will come to Wii U, Ninja Gaiden 3 and Battlefield surprised me.

Also Nintendo announced a Just Dance 3 for Wii, Luigi's Mansion 2 for 3DS, Super Smash Bros 3DS, and Super Smash Bros for Wii U.

So in the end, they didn't announce too many new games, but they showed a lot of great 3rd party games for both the 3DS and Wii U, and that footage of Zelda looked awesome!

Only drawbacks for me personally were:

-No info on Pikmin 3,
-No info on Dragon Quest X, Last Story, or XenoBlade. Feels like Nintendo abandoned Wii.
-Already showing a Wii U tech Demo of Zelda before Skyward Sword? Zelda should look like that tech demo
-No information on Kirby for the regular DS.

However they did a lot for 3DS and Wii U. I just wish they supported the older consoles more, especially Wii since it's still the primary home console for over a year.

The highlight of the conference for me was Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I thought that game was cancelled!

8/10 for me. I really like the idea for a tablet controller, seeing as i'm an avid Android smartphone & tablet gamer. The potential is great, and it's truly innovative for the future of gameplay, UI, and depth to game experiences. I wish they announce exclusive titles for the Wii U, instead of showing multi-platform titles, but they did accomplish the goal of getting people to realize Nintendo is focussed on hardcore gamers more so this upcoming gen.

This is what we expected for this gen, when the Nintendo "Revolution" was rumored to have a screen embedded into the controller, so to actually see it come to fruition is not only a relief, but it's refreshing. Arguably the best E3 showing this year.

One thing I was wondering by the way, will the Wii U actually support several of those new controllers ?
We never saw two at the same time and if the system is wirelessly sending the video to the controller it is questionnable if it can do that to several controllers at the same time.
What do you think ?

they announced several titles for 3ds but what of wii or what of ds?

1/10, by far the worst of e3. wiiu is the size of a tablet and appears to be getting 3ds ports and other lackluster software. The 3DS games all appeared to suffer from low FPS.
