Forums - Microsoft - Star Wars Kinect revealed

I'm really disappointed here, the game is laggy and I think it doesn't make sense in the Star Wars universe, if they wanted to appeal to the Star Wars fans, just use the periods from the Clone Wars, they had some epic battles and I'm sure fans would love it, but instead they gave us X-wings fighting Trade Federation Space stations :/

Gameplay at its finest

Well I guess it could keep kis entretained for a couple of minutes

I really don't know what to say to that, watching the video the movements in game were nearly a second behind it seemed, and it's really obvious in this gif.... I would say it also doesn't look good but that would be saying anything outside of the Force Unleashed has looked good this gen as far as Star Wars games go, so par for the course?

I kinda expressed how bad the trailer past E3 looked to Twes and he was saying not to expect it to look like the trailer (he was right on the money) and I told him I hope they make a game that makes me finally interested in Kinect, this is miles ahead of most games I must admit but I just can't deal with the time difference between action (you) and reaction (the game).

Star Wars Kinect still looks like ass.

Disney looks awesome.

If I were MS, I know which one I'd have my money behind...

It seems to be perfectly in line with George Lucas' late treatment of Star Wars

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

I'm kind of torn. It doesn't look that great, but I still have a feeling it could be a ton of fun to actually play. Crazy Jedi moves are awesome after all.

Hmmm yeah I still don't know how anyone can accurately say how good the game will be based on this footage. I think the jury is still out. I'm taking most of your comments with a grain of salt, seeing how your derogatory comments are intermixed with suggestions that the game would be "so much better with move" followed by playstation banners. I'll just wait for the actual game instead of listening to your expert opinions, thanks.

Kids are going to love this. Could draw in some hot chicks too. Definitely, Dungeon Masters and larpers will want this. They throw imaginary fireballs at eachother already, as it is...

I was thinking the same thing. All they need next is Dragonball Z Kinect, then those kids that practice their imaginary Kamehameha waves will be jizzing their pants.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.
