I'm beyond sick of people always posting negative about games they have never played and never will play for many. Its plain and simple elitist and biasedness, and it gets old.

well to be fair, that can go both ways.

people then should also not hype up a game and say positive things about it, saying the game is great or good.

im not saying this game is good or bad, im just saying people can easily make fairly accurate guesses/ obseervations at how good a game is going to be, by viewing gameplay footage

The companies job in releasing trailers, ads and early footage is to make the game look good to potential customers, if the promotional meterial fails to make the game look good then logic would state that the game must be a lot worse as most games end up playing worse than the promotion makes them look. At the very least it's a failure in promotion if the game looks like shit as like it or not how people decide what games to play is by promotional meterial.

You always show off the best parts of the game early to build hype and fankly if that is the best the game has to offer it will be a pile of garbage. The animations lokk awkword and wooden the ship controls don't make sense etc. In the french demo gameplay looks akword fighting multiple enemies it seems to switch targets at random and the player character gets shot repeatadly for no effect (especially look at the part where the player lifts a droid with force powers as the player character gets repeatadly shot by the other 2 droids) so ether they had the game on god mode because they didn't want to die from the clunky controls or the game has no chalange because you can't die...

The gameplay just looks like shit from what has been shown, now maybe the end game will be great and I would be happy because a motion controlled Star Wars game sounds awsome. But I am not seeing anything that looks good so I have to assume it plays like crap and I am not going to say the game looks like it's good when it looks like crap.

I understand that Microsoft's main selling point for Kinect is hands-free gaming, but this would probably be a much better game with a lightsaber peripheral. It could still be tracked with Kinect and have hand gestures/movement for force push, lightning, etc. It's too bad they seem to have an all (hands-free) or nothing mindset with games built from the ground up for Kinect.

according to the giantbomb crew many developers when they were first showed the Natal as it was back then they all asked for peripherals but MS wouln't budge and insisted that "you are the controller"

I feel a disturbance in the force.

Its as if hundreds of gamers who've never played this game cried out that it was horrible, and then were silenced.

Did you watch the live gameplay footage? It looks absolutely horrible, like a full second of lag with every movement and it sometimes didn't even track his movement at all, it also doesn't help that the frame rate looked janky and looked like an on-rails hybrid. It's not hard to see that the game is just another licensed shovelware game, it most likely got a years worth of dev time and was just sent out to sell on the brand name. The Disney and Sesame Street games look less crappier.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Gameplay at its finest

Well I guess it could keep kis entretained for a couple of minutes

Guys I'm not saying it looks amazing. At all in fact I agree it looked laggy as hell and I'm wondering where the challenge comes from as well.

BUT I realize this is off cam footage, not official, and who knows how tightly the game could control later on. Remember this is far from a final build. The game still has alot of explainging to do in terms of potential sure, but I'm not just gonna write it off based on some youtube video.

Some people have already said in this threa "Worst game of the year confirmed" and that type of thinking just bothers me. Let's wait till we see more, and here more before judging like that.

I'm sick of people hyping mediocre games up and trying to quelch people from voicing their opinions good or bad.   First opinion when I saw this a year ago was absolutely garbage.  Second opinion, seeing this game in action?  Absolutely garbage.   This doesn't mean I won't pay attention to how it gets reviewed and perceived but I am not fooled by it, and I won't say anything positive about it just because it makes the fans of specific consoles happier.

It will be a mediocre, on the rails, laggy, game with some slight enjoyable aspects simply because of the Star Wars tag line in my opinion.  I hope I am wrong because I want a quality Motion controlled game for the PS3, or 360. This is the first chance for that.

I want you honestly to tell me that this looks like fun.  That it looks like a great title.  Imagine it without the Star Wars in the name and make it some generic space war game.  You tell me that it looks 'GOOD'.
